Gouchys Metalworks are a UK based Manufacturing and Trading Company, and as such abides by all the relevant UK Laws and Acts.

 

 

 

ORDER POLICY

 

An order is placed once cleared funds have been received by us, a line of credit has been approved or payment terms have been agreed to by us.

 

Once your order is accepted we aim to dispatch your order within 4 working days or to a date agreed to stock items or 'made to measure' orders

DELIVERY POLICY

 

We dispatch our orders to the UK mainland via;

 

ParcelForce 24hr or 1st Class Royal Mail (recorded) depending on the weight and size of the package.

 

We will be able to furnish you with a tracking number for Parcelforce on request.

 

We find this is the best service, if you are not at home when your order is delivered, a card is put through your letter box and then you are able to collect it at your convenience, from a local collection point.

 

Freight orders are palleted and sent via the nationwide Palletline 24hr service, please ensure you have the means to unload your order.

 

Orders to be sent outside the UK Mainland will be charged accordingly with delivery timescales set out by the courier, all details will be agreed to prior to accepting foreign orders.

 

We will send an email confirmation on the day your order is dispatched, giving you 24hrs notice.

 

Customers are welcome to collect their orders in person, however we would request that you contact us on 01282 611531 to arrange an approximate time and date, to ensure your order is ready.

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

On made to measure orders;

 

In the first instance please telephone us on 01282 611531, we will then put a stop on your order and assess the direct cost to us. this will be dependent on how much work has already been carried out on your order. we then reserve the right to charge accordingly a percentage cost for the work carried out.

 

For standard stock items;

 

In the first instsnce please telephone us on 01282 611531

 

A charge of 10% of the total price will be charged for handling and re-stocking costs.

 

 

 

RETURN & REFUND POLICY

 

We accept returns if the products made are wrong or are damaged on delivery.

 

You have 7 days to notify us of any return.

 

We would request that if your parcel is damaged on delivery, it is noted on the delivery sheet, that it was 'damaged in transit' and that we are notified in the first instance.

 

All returned goods must be in their original packaging.

 

All returned goods must be unused.

 

We will offer a refund and reserve the right to charge 10% of the total price for handling/restocking costs.

 

Damaged goods will be exchanged on a 'like for like' basis.

 

We request that you contact us on 01282611531 giving reason for return.

We do not write down or store any details of your credit/debit card or any financial details, all payments are routed through our chosen secure server Paypal

 

We will not pass on any details, both financial or personal, to any third parties.

 

We do keep your personal contact details for the processing of your order.

 

 

 

None of the above policies affect you statutary rights.
